TestIstanbul Competition Committe is proud to announce that Testing Competition Registration is officially now open and anyone can register.

What is Testing Competition?

Testing Competition is a public competition open for anyone who is intereted in testing. Participating teams will receive a bugy software prepared by TestIstanbul Competition Committe and have the chance to test this software and report its bugs between March 19th and April 1st.

Awards
- The winner team will be awarded with iPad 2.
- The winner team will have the chance to present their approach during TestIstanbul 2012 Conference.
- First three ranked team will be awarded with a free full registration to TestIstanbul 2012 Conference.

Deadlines
- Registration Deadline: March 12, 2012

- Competition Dates:Competition will take place between March 19th and April 1st

Evaluation Criteria
Participating teams will be evaluated according to the below criteria

- Test Plan
- Test Design
- Test Execution (Automation)
- Test Reporting
- Bug Reporting

Competition Rules

- Test Team can not consist of more than five persons.
- Testers can utilize "Open Source" test automation tools.
  - Utilization of test automation tools will be awarded with bonus points.
  - Utilization of "Non-Open Source Tools"
        • Just HP Testing Tools can be used.You can download from here.
        • Utilization of the other " Non-Open Source" test automation tool will disqualify
          the team from the competition

  - If the team utilizes test automation tools, should define each tool's name and version.
  - Test scripts generated by using test automation tools should be shared with the testing competition committee
- Teams should use Test Case, Test Report, Bug Report, Test Plan templates shared on TestIstanbul web page.
